The Kappa Gamma scholarship program is designed to encourage members to prioritize their education and to take responsibility for the academic achievements. The program includes a tiered GPA threshold, where the higher a member’s GPA is the less study hours they are required to complete each each week. Members are held accountable for their hours by members of the scholarship committee, members who have competitive GPAs, often above the campus and chapter average, who can mentor others who are experiencing scholastic difficulty. Members participating in a full time co-op, internship, study abroad, or student teaching would be available to create an alternative scholarship program with the help of the Vice President of Academic Excellence. Each semester a scholarship banquet is held to reward chapter members for their academic achievements, including those members on the Dean’s List.
